“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Born and raised in Akron, OH and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in finance. I spent 26 years in the banking industry with my last position being Senior Vice President of Operations. Like a lot of banks we went through a few mergers and after the last one I decided it was time to move south. I headed to Aiken, SC but after a few years the town became a little too small. I Searched for a larger city in South Carolina and found that the Charlotte area fit the need.
I started as the volunteer church treasurer and as the church grew so did the job. I was no longer a volunteer, but a full time employee handling everything from window cleaning to investing your gifts.
I have a wonderful family which I enjoy being with and doing all those things grandparents are supposed to do.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 NIV
